Dude. We're in a lockout. I'm simply moving at the speed of our legal system. What's a week between friends?
Because of Smootsmack's impatience, I am doing the roster that I would build in May, not my predictions for what will happen. Those predictions will come as soon as I know the free agency rules. For right now, assumption is: 2010 rules to player movement.
Quarterbacks (3):
Rex Grossman, Scott Tolzien (R), Pat Devlin (R)
Runningbacks (5):
Roy Helu Jr. (R), Keiland Williams, Evan Royster (R), Henry Hynoski (R), Mike Sellers
Wide Receivers (6):
Anthony Armstrong,
Malcolm Kelly, Leonard Hankerson, Brandon Banks, Terence Austin, Aldrick Robinson
I do think Niles Paul is a better prospect than Austin, but Paul's best chance of making the roster is Kelly getting hurt again and being released.
Tight Ends (3):
Chris Cooley,
Fred Davis, Logan Paulsen
Offensive Linemen (8):
Trent Williams,
Kory Lichtensteiger,
Will Montgomery,
Erik Cook,
Jammal Brown, Stephon Heyer, Clint Oldenburg, Mike Williams
Defensive Linemen (8*):
Anthony Bryant,
Adam Carriker,
Vonnie Holliday, Jarvis Jenkins (R), Albert Haynesworth, Ma'ake Kemoeatu, Ian Williams (R), Darrion Scott*
*I have Albert Haynesworth on the opening day roster. I think he's traded by Week 4. My player totals equal 54, but D. Scott is going to be a post-Haynesworth pickup.
Linebackers (9):
London Fletcher,
Chris Wilson,
Brian Orakpo,
Lorenzo Alexander, HB Blades, Ryan Kerrigan, Perry Riley, Rob Jackson, Markus White
Defensive Backs (9):
DeAngelo Hall,
Kevin Barnes,
LaRon Landry,
OJ Atogwe, Phillip Buchanon, Reed Doughty, DeJon Gomes, Chris L. Rucker (R), Brandyn Thompson (R)
Specialists (2): Graham Gano, Josh Bidwell
Long Snapper (1): James Dearth
