That is fine if everything were equal but....the NFL and their players generate billions of dollars for the league and their owners. I am not sure if you generate that much for you boss?
Most of the billions earned by ther NFL is on the backs and broken knees of the players. Add to that the average players career span is 3.5 years. I would rather see the players get their share than see the owners pocket it all.
Regarding you statement above: How would you feel if you are making $70K and the guy in the office next you (doing the same job) is making $500K? Add to that, you are doing the job much better than then your over paid co-worker. Would you still whistle on your way to work? I would not, I'd be pissed.
