Most of the billions earned by ther NFL is on the backs and broken knees of the players. Add to that the average players career span is 3.5 years. I would rather see the players get their share than see the owners pocket it all.
Regarding you statement above: How would you feel if you are making $70K and the guy in the office next you (doing the same job) is making $500K? Add to that, you are doing the job much better than then your over paid co-worker. Would you still whistle on your way to work? I would not, I'd be pissed.
