Landry in the box, Rak coming off the edge, Rak rushing from a standing position. I think we're going to do it all this year. I also like the fact the Cofield gets to stay in the East. He's familiar with Philly, Dallas, and obvi the Giants' offense. So that's a huge plus, especially as the division tightens up down the stretch, which we know it will.
I think Shanny is basically saying to Haynesworth, if you're gonna stay you're gonna have to compete your way onto the field. No head games, just bust your ass and earn it.

I don't understand why everything has to be related to Haynesworth.
While the 3-4 defense does a good job at confusing offense, fundamentally a team needs to have a solid NT that can take on blockers and push the the center, and DEs to control the running backs and keep blockers from the rushing OLBs. I think in Carriker and Cofield, we'll have two solid DEs for the defense. Cullen Jenkins could probably play better NT than Cofield, an given his experience on a 3-4 defense would be helpful.
