I can only guess that the southern fried country folks couldn't say that long of a sentence so they shortened it to "cornhole". And if I'm not mistaken I thought the "bean bag toss" had more then one hole which also shows the country folk can't handle more then hole

Why would it be called Bean Bag Toss when the bags are filled with corn? Sounds like the south just corrected what was wrong.
