He hasn't "turned his life around" because he's employed again...he simply went back to work after getting out of jail. Is Plaxico Burress a "great redemption story of a man who has re-made himself" too? What about Lawrence Phillips? Would he be a hero if he came back? Simply returning to his job is nothing to praise him for. Why don't we put some more attention on those who have stayed on the right side of the law, done good things without a judge telling them too and have been on the field instead of in jail? London Fletcher comes to mind.

In fairness, Vick has done more than just "return to work". He has spoken on the topic, worked with the SPCA, sought advice from people like Tony Dungy. I'll give credit where credit is due - he certainly seems to be working towards redemption. I, as you, just don't think his "redemption" really been tested yet. It easy to "do the right thing" when the world is all rosy for you, let's see what happens Vick is no longer in the limelight.
