They put him there because coverage IS is weakness. He excels at swarming the ball and is in part the reason he fails in coverage. He's aggressive and continually goes after the big play instead of playing sound defense. |
1. Nothing to do with 'Redskins Hatter Media', more so about Cowboys players in general getting more praise than they're worth.
2. Yes when he was played close to the line of scrimmage he was a good player but he didn't possess game changing abilities like Laron. The second he had to play FS he was even more atrocious than Laron at FS.
and maybe, just maybe Landry being as good as he is at swarming to the ball and laying the wood has something to do with playing him close to the line of scrimmage. As opposed to his coverage being so atrocious that they need to hide it.
