My question is should I go QB heavy early or just get the lower tier while stocking up on the RB and WR stars. I have pick 1.3 and am thinking QB but could just get the a Tier 1 RBs and WRs in the first three rounds and suck up lower tier QBs later. Advice welcome.
Depends on how the points in the league are set up. If the point values favor the QB and you have more than one QB spot in your starting line up, I've known a lot of guys that go QB, QB with the first two picks if they are available b/c they will score you waaaay more points than even a top tier RB if the point system is right.

That being said, if the points don't favor QBs, OR, if other people in your league snatch them up quick, there's no point going after mediocre QB's when top tier RBs are still on the board. I've done very well this year getting a top tier RB, then top tier WR, then one of the last QB's near the top of the pack (Brees, Ryan, Freeman) and going from there.

There's a million ways to skin a cat my friend. A lot of it is you being able to play off the other people in your league and how they draft. Good luck.
