They're going to ask for more money anyways. Was it dangerous to give Portis a new deal? A holdout from Denver because of his low rookie salary, which is why we got him. Or how about LaVar getting the highest LB contract in the NFL and wanting another 6.5 mil. Oh, Oh! Santana Moss getting a pretty hefty extention! Just remember - Chris Samuels could have said no to restructure and screwed up our cap royally, yes he got a good deal with it, but all it takes is someone who's mad with the organization and we're in trouble.

Players hold out for cash, it's their only bargaining chip. I'm sure some of you guys are part of a union, ever been unhappy with wages? Let me know what happens.

Is he still making more money than I hope to make in my lifetime? Yes. Comparably to other people drafted around him, no.
