The 85 Bears lost ONE game all year long with an offense that was anemic at best even though they had Walter Peyton as the RB. Don't try to say that the Redskins' defense of 2004 was comparable to that defense; it simply wasn't. Going directly to the bottom line, the Skins in 2004 lost TEN games not ONE.

AND, the Skins' defense had the chance in several games hold onto a victory because they took a small lead into the middle/late stages of the 4th quarter and that defense did not hold the lead. Go review the tapes for Cleveland Browns and Dallas II as examples. There was probably another one but I can't pull it from memory at thie moment (Cincy?). The 85 Bears didn't do that. Neither did the Ravens or the Bucs in their Super Bowl years. With a lead and six minutes to play, those teams were money in the bank.
