That call on 3rd and 2 from the 12 had me ready to throw something at the TV, even if, as you say, Rex could have possibly still made something of it. The call on 4th and 3 is conspicuously absent from the O Playcalling breakdown. Where do you fit it? I'm being serious. No doubt it was flawlessly executed, but the three calls that preceded it made the go-for-it decision seemed forced, as opposed to an accepted part of the plan at that point. And if that play doesn't convert, it's the only play we're talking about today.
