Re: We Want Dallas! 2011 Thread
Romo is a very, very good player who took over a team with a lot of talent on it, so I think people grew to hate him and what he stood for. But right now, he and Jason Witten (and Miles Austin, when healthy) are a couple of superstars (and in Witten's case, future Hall of Famer) on a team that really isn't very good.
They're the complete opposite of what the Redskins have become. The Redskins are a top-down organization: the coaches run everything. The players are more replaceable now than ever before. Starting quarterback gets hurt? Whatever.
The Cowboys have Romo, Witten, Ware and Austin, but that's it. This isn't a good team. It's a good four players. Bad teams like those seen in the NFC West don't have comparable talent to what the Cowboys offer. But that's really just those four guys.
And we don't have four guys as good as them, but I don't think we'll need it this week.
