The good thing about Bowen is that he'll still be playing well when this team is ready to compete for the NFC East every season (2013- if all goes well in the next two drafts).
Jenkins is a better player now, and probably would have been a better use of the money we spent b/c his "cheap" years would have been more valuable to us on the front end. But considering the way we did go (probably overpaying Bowen), we came out alright.
