Now that we have the basic facts down we are left with one question, what kind of Sharia School of Law will they establish in Libya? Obviously whatever they establish be based on Sunni School of thought. Will they transition to the Hanafi school used in Pakistan and Turkey? Hanabali like the Saudis? Maintain their existing Mālikī school of law much like the rest of the north African countries? Or will they adopt Shafi'i which is used in east African and south east Asian Muslim countries?
