Re: Positions Which Need to Be Addressed

I pretty much concur with your rankings Hoo. I'm just gonna run down the list here.

QB - Please put our first round draft pick to good use Mike S., and also feel free to package up picks and move up if the guy you want is available. Priority numero uno.

RB - We're good. It doesn't matter who the back is, it matters who's blocking for him

FB - We're good.

WR - We could use an upgrade here, but definitely not as high a priority as other areas.

Offensive line -We need better depth. Also could use a new starting right tackle IMO, anybody else watch Jammal Brown get pancaked by the d-lineman yesterday? He can stay as depth if he wants

TE - We're good.

DL - JJ will be back, which helps, but I haven't seen enough good out of Cofield to want to believe he's the long term solution. Not as high a priority as others though.

Linebackers - We're fine at OLB, but we could use an upgrade next to Fletch in the middle, and we also need to start preparing for the day when Fletch is gone too.

CB - We could definitely use an upgrade here. DC if it's Wilson or Hall gone, but at least one of them needs to be replaced. I'd venture it's Hall, because they probably don't want to give up on a guy they just signed this year.

S - We have bigger problems. What happened to the Landry of the first half last year? Is it him or Haslett that has had to adjust to cover other deficiencies in the d?

K - We're good.

P - We're definitely good.

KR/PR - Banks finally broke out a little yesterday, hopefully it leads to better things next week.

Whomever is blocking for the field goal unit - get your shit together. Gano's kick could've been a little higher yesterday but kicking a field goal isn't a one man show, and so far this year we have had a lot of special teams gaffes.
