Hopefully, Kerrigan and Orakpo can sack Alex Smith three times apiece. Josh Wilson and DeAngelo Hall have to be sound in coverage. But most importantly, the defense must find a way to limit the running room that Frank Gore is liable to use. Gaps need to be filled in order for holes to be closed so Gore is limited. Truthfully, I still expect Frank Gore to have a big day rushing against the Redskins defense. But I don't expect for him to run wild and have 250 yards or anything outrageous like that.

Offensively, John Beck has to hit his receivers. The offensive line must do their part in limiting the 49er defensive from getting effective penetration. Ryan Torain is due for a huge game running the ball. He's been stifled the past couple of games. It will be difficult against this stout 49er defense. But if the Redskins offensive linemen can get to the 2nd level in the zone blocking scheme, Torain should be able to run for lots of yardage.

Basically if they play solid in all aspects of the game they stand a chance.

"So you say there's a chance..."
