We have drafted ONE O-lineman in the top two rounds of the last ELEVEN drafts. I will concede that the 2012 1st round pick almost has to be a QB, but I want to see more than one high OL draft selection a decade.
The first thing is to figure if there is any OL that will grade that highly in THIS YEAR'S draft. Both Iupati and Davis were predicted in the mocks to be taken rather highly. Not to mention getting two 1st round picks is easier said than done.

Frank Gore is a damn good back as well. He was producing big well before the arrival of those fellows. Now, we DO have a back who might reach that level in Helu, but again, the OLprospect must be good enough to be taken with a 1st round pick first.
