I'm not trying to disagree with the Young example, just how you're using it.
Sure, a player can go from a bad team to a good team and his numbers can improve immensely. I'm not looking to deal in hypotheticals though, at least not right now. Bradford is young enough where you can say Steve Young and I can say JaMarcus, and we can both be right, at least today.
You're essentially using the evidence to say, "players who suck on bad teams for two years can become Steve Young." And I'm really just trying to say that sometimes, they just become JaMarcus Russell. I'm not making any more of a prediction for Sam Bradford's future than you are, just making a comparison that holds to date.
