That true. Just look at Tim Couch, Heath Shuler, and Ryan Leaf. Each of those QBs were a beast in college, but less than a mouse in the NFL. But would promoting Crompton to the active roster and giving him instant playing time be a bad move at this juncture? We saw Beck, who has absolutely nothing. We've seen Grossman, who turns the ball over like it's a disease. Now, I'd like to see Jonathan Crompton give it a go. What would it hurt? Mike Shanahan should place him on the active roster and let him get some experience.
