I would love to wait to get someone next year like Barkley or RG3 since I think they are better players than anyone that would be below them in the draft this year that we could get. HOWEVER, you can't sit back another year and wait to get a QB next year. It would suppress the growth of the team significantly for another year and if we did well next year anyhow we would have a lower first round pick and half to give up A LOT to trade into the top 5 to draft one of those two.
Remember, by staying, Barkley could be in the same place Luck will be this year. #1, and that will cost a boat load to trade up for, so you really aren't helping yourself by playing the waiting game in that scenario.
Which sucks. We would have a much better shot at drafting either one this year, and give up a lot less too I would assume than by waiting and trading up next year. I can't believe he is going to stay after his two stud linemen said already they were going to declare.
