He stayed, but was so highly rated and regarded that even after he got injured he was still a top pick. If Barkley plays a game or two next year I and tears an ACL I still see him as the number 1 overall pick. I heard Mel Kiper saying he thinks that Logan Thomas will challenge him...don't see that at all.

also this entire year at usc came with no pay off, usc was dealing with aftermath of reggie this year. usc finished 10-2 losing one game to stanford and beating oregon at the end of the year. they have a legit shot at the national title with what looks to be the top qb and top ol in college football next year.
