Re: Do you guys think ramsey the answer at qb

Defensewins, I completely agree with you. I hate to ramble on about statistics, but I'm basically going on instinct. I look at everything and take all factors into account. I'm no scout, but I do know that no QB is perfect. Take this kid Ramsey, drafed below Carr and Harrington. Put him in a college coach's "fun-n-gun" offense. Let the kid take repeated beatings because he's in a system that offers minimal blocking schemes. Enter a new coach, a completely new convoluted system that emphasizes protecting the QB. So involved at times that our tight ends and recievers wouldnt even know where to line up. Hire a washed up veteran QB and let him play through almost 75% of the season. Take your 3rd year kid who was the starter and thrust him into this system becuase you realize your "consistent" veteran QB wasn't so consistant at all anymore. All I'm saying is given Ramsey's circumstances and what he's had to deal with, he has shown through all of this. Brett favre last year tried to throw a touchdown 5 yards past the line of scrimmage. Aaron Brooks is throwing the ball backwards. Peyton Manning throws 50 touchdowns during the regular season, but looks like his younger brother in playoff games. PLEASE guys, it's just a matter of time before your singing his praises becuase we've made it to the playoffs and not just becuase of our stellar defense.
