Re: Eight QBs and Where The Latest Rumors Have Them Going
This is the time of the year where every agent, team exec, team scout really amp up their embelishments, exxagerations and half truths.
Everyone is telling stories with varying levels of truth to each in an effort to create value for their player/client, or their draft position, or to glean information about how different teams or scouts rate their client, or other prospects.
Each part of the chain is dependent upon the other for their information.
Yet everyone knows that they're not at liberty nor are they expected to be completely honest.
A scout might tell an agent something (that may not be true) in exchange for something that agent tells the scout (that may not be true) the scout then talks to a reporter/journalist/media member and tells them something 'off the record' (that almost certainly isn't true about a prospect or about their teams plans) the reporter then confirms this story with an agent (who will say virtually anything to increase his clients value). Story gets printed in a newspaper or blog or article.
Rinse. Wash. Repeat.
