I should throw it out there that I'm studying Campbell's last three years extensively with him set to hit free agency, and will probably do the same with Henne before the end of the month. Campbell shows clear tendencies based on coverage looks that I'm sure coordinators have picked up on, but as long as he can use his legs effectively, Campbell is difficult to stop/scheme against.

The funny thing about Jason Campbell is that he's getting to that point of his career where he's nicked and bruised week to week and isn't the athlete he once was, and he's reaching that point simultaneously with maturation in the pocket in terms of ball security and getting the ball out in timing and rhythm. The funny thing is: this trade off will keep him as a middle of the pack QB overall, although the "film guys" like Cosell are sure to remark that he is an "improved" player, whatever that means.

Henne has had the same down to down inconsistent shown by all young QBs, and as long as he keeps getting reps and keeps improving, I'm not sure we should hold his early career negative plays against him. After all, Campbell (who I believe was a really good fit for Zorn's offense) threw blind a number of times on tape during the 2009 season when he was fooled by the coverage. He hardly ever did that with Oakland.
