Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)

NC Skins,

Since I didn't get to answer your question:
Quote:
Don't quit your day job because you suck at mock drafting.

1) How would the Rams end up at #5 if they traded with the Browns at #4?

2) Kalil not in the top 4?....lol

3) Weeden at #6? Are you friends with Fred Davis and Trent Williams by chance? Smoke buddies perhaps?
1- for some reason I had a brain fart and thought the draft order was Colts, Rams, Vikes, Bucks, Browns, Skins. Thats how I got the Browns at #5. But I stand by who I think will get who
Colts-Luck- set in stone
Browns-RGIII- Browns are infatuated and want him
Vikes-Blackmon-Ponder needs help
Rams-Kalil-Bradford needs protection
Bucks-Claiborne-need secondary help
Skins-Weeden

I'm betting the Browns do whater it takes to get RGIII. Vikes need to give Ponder some offensive help. Rams need Kalil... didn't their LT retire? Bucks need Claiborne cause they will need to replace Rhonde Barber who supposedly retired or might come to the Skins.

#3- Weeden at #6? I'm not a fan of this either. I would prefer they trade back and get more picks and take Weeden late first early second round. So again why at #6 because I keep hearing that Miami is interested in Weeden also. Miami picks 2 spots after us and I could see them taking him if they really want him as a back up to replace Henne. I have also heard how last year MS was interested in one of the QB's and figured that our spot was too high to draft him so we traded out and figured to pick him up late first or second round where he was slated to go and someone else took him. Rumor is MS was not happy about missing out. Couple that with the rumor that Miami might be interested in Weeden, then I could see MS thinking screw it I'll take him so we don't lose him.

Keep in mind I'm still assuming the team is going out for a FA QB. I hope Flynn, but Manning if proven healthy and let go.
