Personally I think he is about as good as Michaels so I'd rather see him stick with Theisman and McGuire. They are the best team right now anyways. Why wouldn't Michaels go to NBC to stick it out with Madden?

Michaels has a thirty-plus year history with ABC. I don't think he'd jump to NBC to stay with a guy he's worked with for two years (and who will likely retire in a few years anyway). Michaels does nearly every sport for ABC, and though we tend to think the world revolves around the NFL (it doesn't?), he may not.
