I still like the idea of drafting Robert Griffin III, but if we are unable to move up, then Peyton Manning wouldn't be such a bad signing. Hopefully, Kyle Shanahan will be intelligent enough to tweak the offense to how Manning plays quarterback instead of trying to micro manage him into being a Shanahan robot, which in turn would cause conflict.

Hopefully Kyle will be mature enough to acknowledge his football acumen is just a fraction of Manning's and he'll shut up, sit back and try to learn all that he can. This is, of course, a 2nd best alternative to the scenario where Kyle's not part of any scenario whatsoever. My intuition, and I would put money on this, is Manning's biggest hesitation about coming here is Kyle's presence.
