I will say this. I think with RG3 the running game alone will be much improved. I'm a broken record on this now but when you have a QB with RG3's running ability running bootlegs off handoffs the cutback lanes break wide open.
On top of that as Matty pointed out we just need a QB in the passing game that won't be good for two turnovers a game. RG3 at the very least can be that as a rookie and possibly more I mean this is a guy that after 3 games had more TD's then incompletions.
I believe that with Griffin at QB we can be a viable playoff contender in our first year. I mean it was after all a successful running game and strong defense that allowed the Falcons to get to the playoffs with Matt Ryan (whose line the previous year gave up more sacks then any team in the league) so why not us? |
And then I completely agree with this one.
I guess i wouldnt be too upset if we got RG3 or Manning, but RG3 does seem to be the shinier and sparkly newer toy.
