I read that Carriker thing in the CBA two nights ago and it didn't really make a lot of sense to me why the Redskins would do that when they're writing all these five year deals that void after two, so I didn't adjust. But your number on him makes more sense than mine after having read that. Still doesn't really pass the logic test though.
I always have a hard time finding out which league year roster bonuses are in, so most discrepancies between my numbers and NFLPA data has to do with roster bonus placement.
I'll correct everything in a subsequent post.

- Grossman - his salary is $920K and his contract seems to meet the criteria for vet min exemption (1 year deal, small signing bonus, etc.). So makes sense I think.
- Ya I noticed the Carriker item on PC's sheets, then it was discussed further in the Yahoo capologists group. A few capologists agree this is the proper accounting method. Though I agree it seems strange considering how they've constructed other recent deals.
- NFLPA only gives salary info. Signing bonus and roster bonus info is always harder to come by. Generally I start with the salary data, then try to fill in the blanks from there.
