Re: Officially Dis Ade Jimoh here!

Excuse me but people would take Ade Jimoh over Deion Sanders? Both are defensive backs and both play on some special teams. That, ladies and gentlemen, is where their football skills part company.

Maybe you'd prefer to have Jimoh on your team from Monday morning to Saturday night because he's a good guy and a hustler and a coachable player and all that stuff. But once the referee signals for the opening kickoff, you can't say that Jimoh gives your team a better chance to win than Sanders.

Deion is at the end of his rope. Maybe - I said maybe - he has one more productive year in him. More than likely, he will hang on as a mere shadow of his former self based on his reputation. But unless Ade Jimoh does some stuff in the next five years that is about ten times more than he has shown in his career-to-date, he won't have any reputation to allow him to hold on with.

It's good to be a fan and root for your team. But I don't think many NFL GMs or coaches would prefer Jimoh to Sanders - - even now.
