Re: MAD about Mad Men

Well, on an episode per episode basis not much seemingly happens but then when you look back over several episodes you realize a lot happens.

The way the episodes tend to sometimes end suddenly is part of what I like about it. The problems aren't nicely wrapped up in a bow at the end of the episodes.

The characters are almost all compelling, the protagonist "Don Draper" has arguably as many, if not more flaws, than anyone else. He's like Breaking Bad's Walt in many ways. The writing flows smoothly and there aren't many, if any, wasted dialogues.

I don't know what show to compare it to, but I highly highly recommend it.
