I heard the thing on elliot, what happened was elliot spoke about the offense then the Defense and how our defense was amazing last year and said that we won't have injuries. If i remeber right then Brian said something about how everything was great last year and they need players to play their parts that they are meant to play. Ellliot said that he would take Lavar on the field rather than off it any day. Brian said that he would need to stay diciplined, he repeated that people would have to play THEIR positions and not try to move to much around and play other players position. He said that he would have to do what he is supposed to do, nothing more.

Agreed that Big LA could be replaced but seriously he was the face of the team 12 months ago. We see how we could do without him, we have to remeber the change did not come with lavar leaving it was greg williams comming. just think about the plans that GW has for arrington and many of us here in a earlier thread were expecting arrington to get 8+ sacks. It seemed that Mitchell was trying to say that everything was good last year and that arrington's moving around and not staying where he is supposed to could hurt the team. I agree with him. I hope arrington does adopt that, in the past was he the most disciplined LB, probally not but as long as he can try I don't see how arrington comming back won't be a positive,
but i understand what offsiss is trying to say, if i understand right i think you feel arrington will help but not for what his contract is worth. I understand and agree, we pay him too much. but we are stuck, just like with brunnel, we pay the man a lot but hopefully we will see what we pay him for next year.
Many of us can see Lavar getting 10+ sacks, and we know that will help the team a lot, lets just hope lavar fits right in, and GW will make hell sure of that.
