I went back and looked and it does appear that their drug intervention program allows them to reset the record (so to speak) if they go through Drug Stage 2 intervention without going to Stage 3. I think stage 2 lasts two years. If they are in stage 3 of the program, then they will not get to reset their records from the looks of it. Since they've failed 3 drug tests, they very well could be in Stage 3 and they have to be clean the rest of their career.

Also to note. If a player is in stage 3, he's in it for the rest of his career so no mulligans it looks like.
