I'd have rather filled a need in the 4th, lord knows we have many, and waited til the end of the draft to pick up a QB. Would've loved to have taken a late round flyer on Kellen Moore or Chase Keenum and if they didn't work out, then take a QB next year. Kirk Cousins doesn't seem all that special to me that it was necessary we spend our 4th on him. Passing on Kirk wouldn't have hurt RGIII's confidence either.

No fourth round pick should be drafted with the expectation of filling a need anywhere, especially as a starter. A 4th round pick is basically a sleeper pick from the perspective of the FO drafting the player. They are not picked for immediate impact. They will compete for a depth spot, and hopefully develop into something 1 or 2 years later.
