i don't think there will be a competition. RG3 is the starter. Unless hes a complete bust, Cousins is a backup, and will remain a backup as long as he's on the team.
The plan was probably to groom him and have two starting caliber QBs entering the 2014 season. Trade Cousins and to recoup one of the 1st rounders we gave up for Griffin.
