it's too bad the cops got ahold of him. if i'm the kid's dad, i beat him to within an inch of his life with a blunt object.
that is absolutely sick for him to even think of this, and just because the kid is 8, doesn't mean he doesn't know any better. i'd hope that when I have kids, he knows right from wrong and would talk to me about this before going through with it.
