The autopsy said Seau's brain didn't appear to have any trauma. His family has donated some of his brain tissue for research.
Lots of mixed emotions when I read that. Obviously the first one being that he didn't have to die. Second one being that his death may have been from nothing, as theres a strange sense of honor in what he did.
But of course then theres hope that if this falls through and he didn't have any damage then it'll show that not every player with a long career will have to worry about head trauma after their career which of course brings us back to the fact that Junior needlessly died for virtually nothing.
