Doesn't it seem weird for the NFL to do come to this decision 2 days before our game against the saints? It seems very similar to the way they hit the Skins with the salary cap penalty right before free agency.

Yea, pretty strange for the decision to come two days before the game. However, I doubt these players will contribute a lot due to conditioning issues.
