Re: How should we remember Gardner's time as a Redskin?

I'll remember - Week 3 against Dallas. The guy got me like 40 fantasy points (mostly in the 4th quarter) and capped off my miracle comeback victory with a long catch on the last play of the game. Then Roy Williams almost took his head off.

I'll forget - Week 2 against the Giants. In hindsight, that drop in the end zone
probably cost us a playoff season.

I'm one of the bigger Gardner fans on this site and I'm a bit sad to see him go. I think the Panthers got a good deal here. They get a veteran receiver with good physical skills who already understands how an NFL offense works. Not to mention he'll be playing for a new contract. They're getting all this for a 6th rd pick and $2M. What are we getting for our $1M+ deadcap charge? Besides, is it that hard to catch the ball?????

But of course I defer to Coach Gibbs, and I guess it was time for RG to move on. Thanks for all the good/bad times and best of luck in Carolina Rod!
