Yes, because your doctor, who no doubt is as completely as well-versed in concussions as the doctors treating RGIII (who deal with concussions on a daily basis), was prescribing the only practical treatment known regardless of situation. Forget that YOU getting a concussion is not even remotely close to the same situation as a football player who gets paid millions to work. I am not saying he should HAVE to play but the fact that your prescribed treatment offers a threat to his livelihood makes the decision totally different. You being told not to go to the gym is an inconvenience. Him being told he can't play is his life.
I'd find some steps to get off the high horse you're riding.
