Not trying to confuse the issue I promise. If RG3 suffered a concussion I really don't think he should play, but given he's not showing any of the signs it doesn't sound like it was a concussion to begin with. You hear the term mild concussion, but my doc said that was bologna i.e. if you have bruising/swelling to the brain it's a concussion and the dangers of another impact too soon are really high.
My question is to those of you who had/thought you had concussions, what were your symptoms. I don't remember the first one very well because I was eight or so. Just that I couldn't walk for a few days from dizziness and nauseau. The 2nd one at age 29 was several days of nauseau, fogginess and generally not feeling like my feet were under me. I guess what I'm getting at is with a real concussion you're not going to be able to do much. I think some people take a shot to the head and feel a little dazed, then call it a concussion. They're worlds apart.
