no, just upgrading the electrical system.
right now:
power - 4 awg from battery to distribution block and 8 awg from the block to the amps
ground - 8 awg (grounded to a seat belt bolt under the rear seat cushion) to amps
will be:
power - 1/0 awg from battery to distribution block and 4 awg from block to amps
ground - 1/0 awg grounded to frame under trunk, run through hole drilled in trunk, to distribution block and 4 awg from block to amps
i doubt it, but if i have enough 1/0 awg left over, i'll use it under the hood for the "big 3". i'll probably have to order more 1/0 awg wire, as well as 1/0 ring terminals.
1/0 awg from alternator positive to battery positive
1/0 awg from frame to battery negative
1/0 awg from frame to engine ground
