Re: Shannon Sharpe on Rod Gardner.

Honestly I think that gardner is a decent #3 reciever, but some of the fans hyping him up to be better than moose are delusional. I have no idea what the hell he will do in NC and niether does anyone else. Inconsistancy = unpredictability. And no one here, wether they support the guy or not, can say that he was consistantly productive, or even consistantly adequate for that matter.

As far as the history of players leaving the team and bitching about us, you're gonna get that with a losing team, but just look at the facts. We've brought in winning coaches and great talent to a team with a rich tradition in the sport. We've got an owner (who by the way isn't exactly losing money on our losing seasons) who will shell out any amount of money to bring in the players/coaches to produce wins. And then you've got the players. Draftees with high hopes and FA's promised big checks. Since we started the downward spiral here, everyone has been blaming the other guy. Players can't exactly go out and say its their fault they lose, cause then they're out of a job. Coaches can't exactly blame themselves (although they can shovel the shit downhill a bit). And the owner is the owner... and the owner is never at fault.

Since all this came about there's been only one person to come in and actually take some fucking responsibility when it comes to losing and that's our current head coach. Spurrier ran off at the mouth about Snyder after he left... and if i'm not mistaken shottenheimer did so as well. (don't know about turner). And I think that's where the winning mentality has to start. You have to hold yourself responsible for what's going on around you and take responsiblity to fix it if its not working.
