You guys aren't understanding the context of the conversation here lol. I'm nowhere near saying anything about NEEDING spinner, but I'd like to see him make the team. I believe the question asked what would you
like to happen in the game and honestly I'm a softy and would like to see a hometown boy go in and play his ass off and do well and earn a roster spot or a spot on the practice squad. I saw the guy throwing around in camp last week and he looked good. I understand that Brunell was too expensive, but just because it costs alot to cut off a tumor doesn't mean that you
don't do it.
Veteran leadership is important to joe gibbs, but what kind of leadership can you get from a guy who can't play, that you'd be willing to give up a roster spot just to have him around. We brought in a fairly young QB's coach for that, and we have so much young untainted talent on our team that I hate wasting a roster spot on Brunell.
