If he already had an MRI the likelihood of there being serious catastrophic injury is unlikely. (ie: tendon rupture, fracture, ligament rupture.) However, there is a possibilty the initial swelling limited the study...this could be why he was re examined. I read today it looks like a muscle sprain in the elbow.
If Eli ends up having something that will keep him out for any amount of time this year the Giants would have Tim Hasselback to back up. I think he's good in a jam but may suffer from Reich's disease(where you can win when the emotions are high in a sub role but you can't be the everyday starter.) The other to QB's are Jared Lorenzen, and Jessie Palmer enough said........
