Forgiveness is not for the person who does the wrongdoing it is for those who have been wronged. To forgive is to free yourself from the bondage of your anger.

As far as Venja Hunte is concerned. His response seemed pretty contrite. Most guilty criminals do not accept responsibility for their own actions.
