As far as Venja Hunte is concerned. His response seemed pretty contrite. Most guilty criminals do not accept responsibility for their own actions.

I agree with KLHJ2 and Lotus on this one. I do not know whether he is honestly contrite or not, but it's not for me to judge. If the people that knew ST are willing to forgive him so am I. All I lost is what ST brought to the field, they lost a son, father, friend, brother, etc. For me, this is a step in the right direction. It's good to see him accept responsibility for his actions even though he wasn't in the home and didn't pull the trigger. Now if the other 4 will do the same...
