You cannot listen to a player in regards to a injury. He could have had a broken spine and still been begging to get in the game. That's how they are. This decision is up to a medical staff and coaching staff. C'mon man, it was obvious this guy should not have been playing. You don't need a medical degree or even stay at a Holiday Inn Express to saw that. Some things are just blatantly obvious. That was one of them.
Again, I think after this, those duties should be stripped from Shanahan and put on the world renowned doctor they've hired.
