Raise your hand if you thought Gibbs had lost his marbles when he said at the end of last season that the final chapter on Brunell hadn't been written.

I've been a staunch supporter of Brunell, as has TAFKAS, but even I have to admit I had my doubts.

I think it's pretty clear now that Brunell was banged up more than the team let on last year, and that his hamstring injury severly messed up his mechanics which in turn took away his accuracy.

Even though he's been going up against backups this preseason, the thing to look at here is his accuracy. All preseason he's been very accurate. He should have been 7/7 last night but Brown couldn't haul in a pass that hit him right in the kisser.

We should feel very confident in our QB situation with Brunell looking so sharp.
