Maybe he can fill the void from D. Hall?

Just real quick I got to get my annual I hate Corners rant out of the way. Corners suck. They're prima donnas who can't catch and they play to far away from the ball to justify their current rep especially with the increased emphasis on Tight Ends and slot receivers. Give me a great safety over a corner any day.
*end rant*
With that said corner is one of the safest positions in the draft, right up there with offensive tackle (

of course it's safe, they're only involved in 3 or 4 plays a game). On top of that theres a HUGE cluster of corners with 2nd and 3rd round grades. Scouts Inc has 6 CB's with 2nd round grades and 8 CB's with 3rd round grades.
Now granted there's only one corner with a 1st round grade so a couple of those 2nd round guys could be reach picks near the end of the first round but if we're looking for a corner with one of our first two picks, well safe to say it shouldn't be much of a problem.
As for Minnifield, could produce, likely won't. Top two reasons for players being a bust at the NFL (not that Chase is much of a risk to be a bust as an UDFA) are character concerns and durability. The odds are not in his favor, especially seeing as how he went undrafted despite his considerable potential which means teams might have been scared stiff during the medical part of his evaluation last year.
